

Teri Petrzalek has been working in the Architecture
Profession for over 20 years. She is licensed in Iowa and
Wisconsin and holds a certificate from the
National Council of
Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
She serves on the State
of Iowa
Architectural Licensing & Examining Board and
currently
chairs the Cedar Rapids Building Department
Board of Appeals.
Teri is a graduate of Iowa State University with
a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. She has a diverse background
in many building types. Originally focusing on financial
institutions & commercial office space, Teri also has experience
in Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, Retail projects and
renovations pertaining to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Architectural practice is about building client
relationships, as well as buildings. Listening and working in
partnership is the key to success.


Shanna Duggan has 10 years of experience in
structural engineering. This includes knowledge in the design of
structures with wood, masonry, concrete, steel and light gauge
metal. She has also worked with shallow, medium and deep
foundation systems and retaining walls. Other areas of her
engineering background include the review of damaged structures
and analysis of the capacities of existing structures and
components.
Shanna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil
Engineering from Iowa State University. Her elective focus was
in the area of Structural Engineering. She has engineering
licensure in Iowa and Wisconsin. Shanna has also established her
National Council of Examiners for
Engineering & Surveying (NCEES) record. She is
past-president of the Structural Engineers of Eastern Iowa.
